Teaching a bricked Parrot AR Drone to fly again: fixing a drone by hacking its proprietary components. ππΉοΈπ¨βπ§ππͺ½
This presentation is a great example of how motivation and passion can overcome a lack of experience or expensive tools. A student from France, Eliot Badinga, shares his DIY project.
To modify a Parrot drone by replacing its broken motherboard, the author had to understand the droneβs internal systems and the protocols it uses to communicate between the central component and the motor controllers, which are proprietary.
Interesting and inspiring presentation, recommended! :)
