Finding vulnerabilities in DJI drones: reverse engineering, firmware decryption, and dynamic analysis (fuzzing). π¨βπ»β―β―πΈπ«¨πͺ²
Security researchers Yejun Kim, Kwangsoo Cho, and Seungjoo Kim from the School of Cybersecurity in South Korea published a paper last year that summarizes existing knowledge and presents a methodology and framework for analyzing drone firmware for security flaws and vulnerabilities.
Although the authors wrote that they've shared the code for the framework they presented, I can't find it online - maybe you can. Anyway, it's great research with some interesting insights that could be useful for future work on drone cybersecurity.
Please enjoy the read and share it with relevant colleagues and teams. Stay safe!
